Fun in the Sun

It was a really hot day and the kids and I were feeling trapped in the house while Adam was at work, so, we packed a picnic and went to a splash pad near by. It was a lot of fun. It was a cute little stream with a waterfall supplying the water. They also had the typical water squirting from the sidewalk but that water was kind of strong and the kids didn't dare get too close to it. It was a fun little park that we will revisit several times this summer, I am sure.

Car Wash!

My car was well over due for a car wash. Thank goodness Austin and Elaina are such good car washers. I think, in total, they rewashed my car probably 4 times. A car can never be too clean.

Picnic with Anthony

We went on a picnic with Brooke and Anthony today. The park was a lot of fun, but man... it was HOT! I swear, kids don't feel temperature because they sure didn't seem effected by it. It was a cool park, though, with lots of unusual play stuff.

Sickies

My little kidlets have had the stomach flu or something like it today. This has been the scene at our house pretty much all day. Poor little mites.

Water Party at Grandma Glenn's

Today we had a water party at Grandma Glenn's house with all the cousins on Adam's side of the family. The kids always have so much fun when cousins and water are involved.Here's all the cousins. The family is growing so fast!

Fun with Aaron & Family

Aaron and his family came out to Utah this past week. It was so fun seeing them. Austin and Elaina love playing with their cousins. One day we went with them to Austin and Elaina's favorite place, the Children's Discovery Park, and to Austin and Elaina's new favorite place, the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum. Any place with sand or water is always a hit! We also went to see Grandma Johnson and Grandma/pa Twitchell. It was a lot of fun to get to spend time with family.

Warriors over the Wasatch Air Show

We went to the Hill Airforce Air Show today. I was so excited for the show! I have been wanting to go to an air show for a really long time and it was fun to finally get to go. The show was great; the weather, not so much. It rained for most the time that we were there, so after we were soaked to the bone we finally called it in early and went home. What we did get to experience at the show, we did really enjoy. Austin was in heaven! Austin is all boy when it comes to airplanes, helicopters, cars, and motocycles. He LOVES them all! His big thing is saying things are broken and that he will fix them. Austin fixed just about every cool vehicle he came into contact with. He was eating up the whole experience! Elaina had fun, but spent most of her time bundled up in the stroller. It was pretty chilly. We wish we could have stayed for the whole show, but it just gives us more to look forward to for the next one.
