HALLOWEEN!!!!

I was so excited for Halloween and to finally get to dress Elaina up in her cute little costume. You can never dress Elaina up too often, though, so we started the day off with her in her little pumpkin t-shirt. Elaina was a cute little bouncing bumble bee for Halloween. Brooke and Susan put together the cutest yellow and black tutu for Elaina. She looked so cute in it. Halloween night was full of driving around to friends and family to show Elaina off in her bumble bee costume. Unfortunately, Elaina had a slight mishap towards the end of the tour and so we had to cut our outting short. So, sorry to anyone who we were unable to get to in time, I would have loved everyone to have seen her. All the excitment wore her out; she fell asleep very quick and easy tonight.

CANDY!!

Elaina is so cute! She would grab into the candy bowl and then put whatever she could get in her lap and then go diving back in for more. She takes after her mom when it comes to candy, you can never have enough.

First Tooth!

Today at church Elaina bit Adam. That's right, she bit him. Adam turned to me and said, "I think she has a tooth." And I replied, "No, let me feel." And sure enough she is growing a tooth. It's still new, but it's coming in. I don't think I'm ready for teeth.

Also today in church I was called to be a primary teacher. I will be teaching the 8 year olds with Brooke. I am so excited.

Bouncing w/ Cousins

Korban, Kayla and Kaden came over to play with Elaina yesterday. Elaina loves her cousins. She had so much fun with them and they got her laughing so hard. In the video Korban and Kayla are bouncing with her.

6 Month Birthday!

Elaina turned 6 months on Monday and with that she had her 6 month check up and immunizations. At her check up she measured in at 17lbs 7.5 oz which puts her in the 80 percentile for weight. She was 25.5 in which puts her in the 50 percentile for height. The doctor said she looked very healthy. He also said that she had advanced motor skills, which doesn't surprise me. He also said that she was advanced in how well she sits up. Elaina still doesn't roll over though, I guess she decided to skip that step. Elaina also got her immunizations today. She got one oral and 4 shots. Poor baby girl, it was a tough day.

After Adam and I got home from school we had a 1/2 birthday party for her. Brooke was there to help us celebrate. Elaina opened presents, not because you get presents on half birthdays, but instead because her half birthday gave me an excuse to go shopping for her. It was so cute how excited she got over her presents. We only had Christmas wrapping paper so that's what she got. Then, she sort of blew out a candle on peach cobbler and then got to eat some yummy pear and raspberry baby food.

Time has flown by so quickly! She has grown into such a happy and sweet baby girl.

Elaina Loves to Bounce!

Elaina absolutely loves her bouncer. Adam and I have counted on it many an occasion when we have both had homework to do. Here's just a glimpse of how crazy she gets in it. She can get going pretty good. Don't be alarmed when she screams, she's not upset, it's just her new thing. She has found her high pitch and likes to exercise it often. Elaina used to not be able to touch the ground when she sat in this thing. Adam and I just can't figure out when it was that she grew so tall.

Peek-A-Boo

Elaina loves to play peek-a-boo. She's such a sweetie.

Snow!

It snowed this morning so we bundled Elaina up and took her out to see the snow. It's only been in the high 30's, low 40's the past couple of days. Elaina just looked at the snow, didn't really think much else of it.
