3 Months!

Ford is 3 months old today! He is such a joy. He loves to laugh and kick and is really starting to talk a lot. Adam and I are amazed everyday at how good of a baby he is. We didn't know these type of babies existed. We love him!

Santa Claus

The kids got to see Santa again, this time at the Provo River Bottoms. They LOVE Santa! Austin told him that he wanted a monster truck and Elaina said Cinderella's castle. Ford would have loved to sit on his knee as well, but we kept him bundled in his stroller. It was freezing!!

Busy Week

Adam had his two week training at Camp Williams so Grandma Utah (aka Twitchell) and Aunt Autumn came to Utah to keep us company and make time go by a lot quicker. While they were here we shopped, shopped and then shopped some more. In the split seconds we weren't shopping we also visited the Great Grandparents and celebrated Austin turning 2 a couple of times. It was a fun week and we were so glad to have family around while Adam was gone.

Austin opened his birthday toolbox early and got right to fixing his new car's tires.

We went shopping for a prom dress for Autumn. Elaina found the bridal veils. Here's the winning dress. It was really pretty and looked great on Autumn.

Happy Birthday Austin!

My little buddy turned 2 today! He is so much fun and always keeps us laughing. His interests are monster trucks, tractors, race cars, monster trucks, motorcycles, tools and I can't leave out monster trucks. He loves to sing and dance and is very talented at both. He's daddy's shadow but mommy's little snuggler. He's a great little talker and keeps up with his big sister. We love him so much! Happy Birthday Buddy!

Austin's 2nd Birthday!

Austin's birthday was jam packed with things Austin loves. We started the day off by having a picnic at the splash pad in Highland. It was so crowded! But the more kids to chase and play with the better. Then we went home and opened presents. Adam even got to come visit for present time. Austin was so excited to see him, and so sad to see him leave again. So, to make things better, we took Austin to Chucky Cheese's for dinner and fun. They had a monster truck ride there which was pretty much occupied by Austin the whole time. He loved it! It was a fun day! It was fun to have Grandma Twitchell and Autumn in town to help celebrate it with us.

Austin's 2nd Birthday Party

We celebrated Austin's 2nd birthday today. He had a race car party! It was so much fun. Adam did a great job putting together a little race track, which ended up being more for show, but it was still really fun and cute. Each of the cousins have a race car.  Austin just got his car for his birthday and is already a natural hot rod. He even demonstrated his skills in maneuvering through the tire obstacles without hands while eating an ice cream cone. It was so much fun getting all the kids out there and watching them all drive together!

4th of July

What a fun day! Adam finally had a day off, so we packed it full of fun. We started the day off by going with cousins to Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake. The kids loved it! They loved all the animals! Elaina’s favorite was the giraffe and Austin’s favorite was the sea lion. The kids also got to ride the carousel and then the choo-choo train. It was a fun trip. After the zoo we all went to Red Robin's for lunch. Even with a 1:1 kid/parent ratio, taking little kids out to eat is always an adventure.
Next on the schedule was the Johnson Family get together at Uncle Keith's house. Keith and Joel both had great back yards with lot of fun stuff for the kids to do. Elaina kicked off the treasure hunt a little early when she started collecting the colored rocks that she found around the yard. Austin also collected rocks, but didn't know that they were suppose to be colored. The kids loved playing with their extended cousins.
Next, we went to a BBQ at Grandpa D'Agostini's house, where there were lots of cousins and fireworks. It was so nice to have kids around to play tag with Elaina in Grandpa D's big backyard. Mom just does doesn't cut it anymore in our small apartment with my growing waste line.
Lastly, we went with Jared and family to a great lookout at Camp Williams to watch all the different firework shows throughout the whole valley. It's amazing how many people do the aerials. We really got quite a show.  Also in view was the glow of the Alpine Fire on the mountain. It made quite the backdrop for the fireworks.
All in all, it was an amazing day and so much fun!

Elaina, the Photographer

Today Elaina told me she wanted to be a photographer. So, I let her use my camera for a little bit. These are some of her results. She never fails to amaze me.
