Our Little Cruiser!

Elaina started crawling this past saturday, Dec 27th. It was so exciting! She kind of gets on all fours and then sticks her but up in the air to get started. She thinks she's hot stuff now that she can crawl and I'm thinking I need to go invest in a fence.

Elaina's Laptop

Elaina got her own laptop today. Elaina loves playing with our laptops and picking the keys off of them, so it's nice that she finally has one of her own. She's not spoiled or anything. But look how happy she is with it.

CHRISTMAS!!!

This was the first Chrsitmas ever that I didn't get up extra early to open presents. My internal alarm still went off at 3 a.m. but I spared everyone and waited until 8:30 to get up. We woke Elaina up and then took her straight to the tree. There was no time to do her hair, as you might notice from the pictures.

Adam had surprised me and made me a hope chest. It is so cool and beautiful. He stained the american flag on the top of it. It's quite the craftmanship. It's definitely a treasure. He still has some stuff to finish on it but it's pretty amazing how it is right now.

Tyler got Adam a BYU jacket for Christmas. It's really nice.

Elaina slowly got the hang of opening presents but she mainly just liked the bows and wrapping paper.

It was a crazy morning so after presents Adam and Elaina took a long nap together.

The day was a lot of fun and we all got a lot of great things for Christmas. Elaina got a lot of new toys that she has enjoyed a lot since.

Christmas Eve

Tonight we went to Adam's dad's house for dinner and presents. They got a puppy today and it was so cute. Elaina thought it was pretty cool. Adam's dad got Elaina the coolest little chair, she loves it. She just sits in it and puts her arms on the arm rests and kicks her feet. She thinks she's quite the big girl.

After we got home we put Elaina in her Christmas eve pajamas. She looked so cute in her little candy cane pants.

Someone got Caught in the Cookies!

Elaina loves cookies and here she is eating one. It's a good thing she's so cute in her little pigtails because she can make quite the mess.

Snow Baby

We got a ton of snow before Christmas so I had to take Elaina out to play in it. She wasn't so crazy about me leaving her in the snow alone or me laying her in the snow to make snow angels though.

SANTA!

Tonight was full of parties and fun. First we went to our ward party so that Elaina could sit on Santa's lap. She was so excited, while standing in line, to get up to him but once she got on his lap she was so sure anymore. She was okay for the first couple of seconds and then she was done. But she loved being around all the kids at the party. We have a really great ward, thankfully. Right after the ward party we went to Adam's Grandma and Grandpa Roe's Christmas party. They were having a white elephant gift exchange. After the white elephant part Adam's mom and sister gave him his real Christmas present. It was two photo albums with a ton of pictures through out his whole life. It is such a treasure! Last night got me in the Christmas mood so now it is only Christmas music from here on out.

Snow Day!

We got a ton of snow today so we couldn't pass up a photo oppurtunity with Elaina in the snow. Elaina thought the snow was pretty cool, but she pretty much hated her snow suit. We are suppose to get a ton more snow the rest of the week. The snow has been put off all season so far, I was hopeing that maybe it would stay away a little longer so we could get our finals done. Oh well, I guess it's time for me to learn how to drive in the snow. I miss the durango on days like these.

Elaina's New Toy

Adam and I both had a lot to do tonight so we let Elaina open a Christmas present early to kind of distract her for awhile. No, she's not spoiled in the least bit. She loves her new little scooter. She can either sit on it or it can be converted to something she can stand and push. She likes to sit on it and just kick. Sometimes she can move herself backwords a little but hasn't quite got the forward movement down yet. She's such a big girl now, when did she grow up so much.

Family Pictures

We took family pictures today. Our picture place was totally packed and crazy but it was still fun. Elaina was so good for the pictures. There were several good ones of her clapping. With Elaina being cute in so many of the pictures it was really hard to narrow it down, so now we have a million pictures. If anyone by chance wants a picture of our family or Elaina let me know because I have plenty of pictures to spare.

Our Beautiful Princess!

In October we took pictures of Elaina all dressed up. Brooke and Susan made the tutus and accessories. Elaina looks so cute in the pictures, but she was quite a fussy model during the shoot. She's so beautiful.

HALLOWEEN!!!!

I was so excited for Halloween and to finally get to dress Elaina up in her cute little costume. You can never dress Elaina up too often, though, so we started the day off with her in her little pumpkin t-shirt. Elaina was a cute little bouncing bumble bee for Halloween. Brooke and Susan put together the cutest yellow and black tutu for Elaina. She looked so cute in it. Halloween night was full of driving around to friends and family to show Elaina off in her bumble bee costume. Unfortunately, Elaina had a slight mishap towards the end of the tour and so we had to cut our outting short. So, sorry to anyone who we were unable to get to in time, I would have loved everyone to have seen her. All the excitment wore her out; she fell asleep very quick and easy tonight.
